Minh and her husband, Steve, didn’t initially plan for a home as large as theirs, but after thinking about their needs a little more, they sat down with their architect to add on some additional spaces. As lawyers, Minh and Steve needed two separate offices for when they work from home. They also decided to add on a rooftop deck after finding out they could have a partial view of downtown Austin as well as an additional bay in the garage to use an air-conditioned, multi-purpose space. Size considerations are incredibly important when deciding to have your home built and can change as you discover needs you didn’t realize you had.
