 | Volunteers Needed for Chili Fest
This year, Chili Fest, presented by Discount Fence, is going BIG! The Home Builders Association of Greater Austin is hosting a Texas-sized welcome party for the inaugural launch of Build Show LIVE in November 2024 in downtown Austin. Join us for a vibrant evening filled with delicious chili, cold drinks, and the best live music in the world while enjoying the scenic Austin skyline at the iconic Long Center!
Volunteer Overview
Chili Fest volunteers are an instrumental part of a successful event. By offering your time and talents, you will receive one (1) complimentary general admissions ticket to the event. Each volunteer will be required to attend a mandatory, virtual volunteer orientation on Tuesday, November 5 at 12pm via Microsoft Teams. Volunteers are needed in various areas including:
- Event Set-up
- Registration/Check-In
- Greeters
- Chili Cook-off Competition
- Entertainment
- Hospitality
- Event Break Down

- Shift 2 - (Day of Event) | Friday, November 8 | 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
- Shift 3 - (Day of Event) | Friday, November 8 | 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- Shift 4 - (Day of Event) | Friday, November 8 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
